Fun Valentine Party Ideas

It won't be long before Valentine's Day!
I thought I would share some fun Valentine party ideas with you today!

I recently received some fun goodies from Oriental Trading's
Valentine Day Party Supplies and decorated our dining room table.
I was inspired to use a chalkboard theme!

Valentine Party Ideas

I used a big double-sided Chalkboard Easel to greet people at the table.  You could use this for so many ways...a menuboard, messages, etc.

I used a simple chalk transfer method.  Print out a message you want to use.

Rub chalk over the back of the paper, and put the chalk side down on the chalkboard.  You then just trace over the letters, leaving a pattern.
I filled in with regular chalk, but a chalk marker would even be easier.

I made a cute little garland for it, too!  I simply stamped hearts
on pink cardstock, cut into my desired shape, and used
black and white baker's twine through punched holes.

Of course for Valentine's Day, there has to be sweets!
I used a Chalkboard Candy Jar to hold Sweethearts candies.

And these I used these Mason Jar Chalkboard Lids.

They worked perfectly on my pint jars.

They fit half-pint, too.  I am going to use them to make spice jars soon!

I also used some of my candy molds to make chocolate Valentine's lollipops.  A super quick project, I used melting chocolate, spooned in the molds, added sticks...and refrigerated until set.  So cute, and so easy!

These Love Is Sweet Treat Bags were for goodies, too!

The black graphic and scalloped edge are so cute, and
I decorated the bags by folding over the tops, punching holes
and threading vintage pink seam binding through for bows.

They were displayed in a big milk glass bowl and
my milk glass cake stand held the drinks.

Don't you love the pink polka dot straws?

Vintage anagrams spell out "Be Mine Valentine"
(a couple of "Z" letters, turned sideways are standing in for "N")
and vintage paper Valentines are scattered on the runner.

A vintage pink hobnail vase holds pretty flowers and I love the
sparkly Large Glitter LOVE Garland hanging across the window!

As always, all opinions are 100% mine.
