A Visit to the Bachman's 2016 Holiday Ideas House...

Well, I finally made it up to visit the Bachman's 2016 Holiday Ideas House...and with two days to spare!
A big thank you to my husband for his help!
Today I'm happy to share some photos from our visit!

If it's your first time seeing an Ideas House tour, Bachman's is a long standing home, floral, and garden business with several branches in the Twin Cities area of Minnesota.  Three times a year they hold an Ideas House in what was a 1920's era Bachman's family home on the flagship property in Minneapolis.  Their designers transform the house seasonally to showcase new trends, some vintage, and repurposed items...and nearly everything is for sale in the house, or the retail stores. $1 from each $5 ticket from this house goes to Children's Hospitals and Clinics of Minnesota.  So let's get started in the front porch...
the theme for this house is "Winter's Frost & Glow"...

The living room looks like a cozy winter retreat...

I love the wonderfall wallpaper from Hirshfield's in the sunroom...

The dining room was cozy with metallic accents...

I always love the bright and cheery kitchen...

A garden arbor can be used as a pot rack...

Hope you enjoyed this section of the tour! Next time we'll finish up with some of the upstairs and the fun outdoors area!
You can visit the rest of the tour HERE !

    1. Thank you, Gayle! People are pretty good about letting you take photos...but this day, it was in the afternoon with a snowstorm outside...and hardly anyone was there!

  15. I HAVE to know...how do you do the layered frames over the couch? Was this a piece you picked up or did you layer them yourself? Absolutely fantastic!
