Woodland Spring Window Decorating...

Spring has truly arrived in Minnesota with warm temperatures, leaves appearing, and trees blossoming. This past week I put together a pretty spring window with a woodland theme using some wonderful goodies I received from Balsam Hill!

This lovely large Majestic Pine Wreath  has long realistic pine needles and lends itself beautifully to decoration. It can be used outdoors and has LED battery operated lights, so it can be easily hung anywhere.  Evergreen wreaths aren't just for winter decorating...I adorned mine with faux forsythia branches and added a charming little nest inside.  I love the bright yellow and green against the dark pine needles...

I used a primitive old tote filled with ferns and flowers...

and added a short string of Balsam Hill's Fairy String Lights.  They are on coated wire and easy to place where you want...battery operated, too!  They have a delicate magical look...

This whimsical gnome looks right at home...

Ferns add to the woodland feeling...

like this one in the old floral basket...

The white candlestick and black lanterns hold Balsam Hill's wonderful Luminara Outdoor Flameless LED Candles.

With a golden glow, they are very lifelike
and have the flickering effect of real candles.
They even have a remote and a timer.
 I LOVE them.
Photos can't show the flickering,
so here's a little video, so you can see how realistic the flame is...

And look at the beautiful lighting as it gets dark in the room...

I love the ambience the lighting provides in our living room!

Balsam Hill provided me with their products used in this post...all opinions are my own...I really loved the goodies!

You can read a special post about my mother and I over on the Balsam Hill Blog!  I hope you'll go over for a visit!

Until next time...

  5. Linda...this is really a beautiful wreath. Dressing it up in spring blooms makes it timeless, I love that idea. And it's very realistic. I looked at this website a lot this past winter. I'm going to go back to have another peek at those candles. Very real looking! The tote is awesome, too. I'm going to put some strung lights on my patio this summer, these would be a nice accent!

Thanks so much for your visits...your nice comments mean more than you know. So glad we met! :)

Hope you have a lovely day.... it's so cold here today and I am waiting for someone to come and fix the boiler - so no heating!!!! Perhaps I should get out my candles to make me feel cosy!!!!

  11. That is such a pretty Spring wreath! I didn't know that Balsam Hill sold those. I love the flickering candles too. They look so real. I once had some "fake" candles but got rid of them because they didn't look as nice as the newer ones out. Yours are wonderful!

  16. Linda, such a nice idea about the forsythia branches in contrast to the dark pine foliage. I definitely get the woodland theme. Thanks for the video on the realism of the candles and the photo shows the lighting in the evening in a beautiful way.
