The Fall Hutch and a Fun Giveaway!!

Fall is rapidly coming to a close and the holidays are quickly approaching!  Thought I would share a few small changes I made to my hutch for late fall, before I switch it out for Christmas!  I mainly did it with the use of color~ browns and golds, with a touch of orange...

I love this little porcelain leaf...

A couple of golden bird figurines add a whimsical touch...

as do some of my dog figurines...

I brought back acorns from the lake...

LOVE this old plate...

and I added this vintage shaker that I found recently... just a few small changes...

THIS GIVEAWAY IS NOW ENDED...

Now for the giveaway!  I am sure you have seen the My Memories giveaways on the blogs lately...they are the top rated scrapbooking software...They offered me the opportunity to review the software and another chance for you to win the My Memories Suite for free!

I'm a beginner at this sort of thing, but found it easy to use, and there are tutorials, too.  There are many templates, background papers, embellishments, etc., as well as the ability to work totally from scratch.  I played around with some of the photos from this post.  Using a collage template, I chose a background color, cropped the photos, added shadow, and text.  Something like this could be used as a scrapbook page, printed as an advertising card, there are so many possibilities!

This is a very simple one I created with photos of my pugs...I chose a corrugated paper, adjusted the opacity, added mats, shadows, text, and embellishment.  It is easy to move or rotate items, to move layers behind or in front, and you can even add music or video for use on the web...

And you can do lots more than just digital scrapbooking... here I took a photo of some vintage ballerina cake toppers, added mats and phrase of my choosing...it is designed to print out on a white background and be framed.

Since you can put things into a JPG format you can print them as photos, or Christmas cards, artwork...whatever you want.  I have only done just a few projects,  so I know there are LOTS more possibilities with this software! There are many free template downloads on their website as well as a large selection of downloadable software add-ons at low cost, so you can constantly get new templates, papers, etc! I am having a lot of fun with this and am looking forward to working on some Christmas gifts with the software, too!

For those of you who can't wait to try this,  MyMemories.com has offered my readers a special discount code for $10 off the purchase of the My Memories Suite v2 software as well as a $10 coupon for the MyMemories.com store- a $20 value!   Just copy and paste and enter this code at checkout-

The 'Someday Soon' kit really appeals to me, but with so many to choose from how does anyone ever decide which one to buy? LOL I guess they just buy several instead of one, right? Please enter me in your drawing.....

Of cousrse i will want the pictures of Sophie & Bailey included in mime somehow. Every time I see their little pictures I want 2 more pug babies. I keep telling myself when I am reading to stay home more. Because I hated having to board sissy for 10 days while gone on trips

Nice to come over again and see them

I forgot to tell you how nice your hutch looks really homey and comfortable
