Fun Thrift Store Finds

This week we have been continuing our moving cleanout process, and donating a LOT of stuff.  Of course...incorrigible thrifter that I am...
I had to go in the stores and see what was just waiting for me!

I am being selective and am passing up lots of wonderful stuff...
and just reminding myself how much someone else will enjoy it.
But a few things did have MY name on them.

This huge old laundry basket is so great for many things.
Such a wonderful patina. $3.75

This beautiful Mason's English pitcher called to me for many reasons.
I love old pitchers...and well...it's brown transferware ironstone. And did I mention it was $3.75?  Sold.

I often sell flash cards of all types in my Etsy Shop.
This is actually the first set I have ever found with fractions.  Fun! 50 cents

And feather tree ornaments always make me smile! 25 cents

I found this beautiful old cough syrup bottle. Loving the label graphics! $1.99

And finally I found this beautiful hand knit cardigan sweater from Ireland!
Oh, the hours spent making this. $3.00

I do love a little thrifting time!
That's it for today...now back to the cleaning out!

Until next time...

  1. I love the old laundry basket Linda. What ever happened to them? The plastic ones work, but where's the charm in plastic? LOL The sweater is as good as a light coat, it looks heavy and thick. :) You got some good deals. Blessings, xoxo, Susie

  5. Your thrift stores have much better prices than ours do. A pitcher like that would have had at least $10 on it. Great finds!
