Love Is In The Air...Valentine Decor

This week I did a little decorating for Valentine's Day!
I like just adding a little something here and there for a festive look!

*This post is sponsored by Oriental Trading*

I used a few more goodies I received from Oriental Trading's
Valentine Day's Supplies. They have lots of fun items in their Home Decor section!

Simply adding these cute shaggy Red Heart Chenille Pillows
brings a whimsical Valentine feeling to a space!
I love how cute they look on our bed.

And they are perfect on a chair...

I love the look of marquee signs, and this one is perfect for Valentine's Day,
and all year round. It is battery operated so it can be used
wherever you want...on a ledge like this...

or hanging up.  I created a fun Valentine's mantel, with a LOVE theme, using it, too.

I used three different LOVE messages.  Besides the marquee sign,
I used this great  Love Concrete Table Decor Set!  Yes, concrete!

And I re-used the Large Glittered Love Garland that
was part of my Valentine Party Ideas post.

It's a fun mix of textures and designs!

The White Lantern Set is used with battery operated candles.
I have other colors of their lanterns, too (like the red ones in the bedroom photo),
and they are great to use in all kinds of ways! The set comes with two sizes...

Adding in some red hearts gives a pop of color...

Love, love, love...

Have you done some Valentine decorating?

I am a brand ambassador for Oriental Trading and received some of the fun products used in this project.  As always, all opinions are my own.

Until next time...

  1. What a fun post, Linda. You did some cute things with those items! I have not done a thing for Valentine's Day and don't know if I will this year---except maybe a flag outside. I have so much of my decorating stuff stored in a warehouse as we prepare to move.
Have a wonderful week- xo Diana

  2. Linda, I love those elfkin dollies on your bed. I am not sure what they are really called. Those heart pillows do pop. Love that. You gave us some clever ideas to do a quick décor for valentine's day. Blessings to you, xoxo, Susie

  4. Cute things from OTC, though I must admit, those two dolls stole my heart :) Like you, I prefer just a sprinkling of Cupid here and there in my home.

  6. Those pillows are so cute! Love your "love" display on your mantel. The different textures make for some great contrast. And the red hearts add just the right touch of color.

I couldn't help but thing the red lantern was perfect for Valentine's Day. I have one from Christmas to store away. Yes, a new use! Thanks, Linda!

  9. Your Valentine decor is so cute! I went very minimal this year. Only a couple of touches in the kitchen.
