Studio Storage...

When I'm out at thrift stores, I'm always on the lookout for studio storage.  Among my favorite finds are vintage wood racks that were originally used to hold 8-track and cassette tapes, CDs, etc.  They come in many shapes and sizes, from large racks, to smaller, more narrow racks.  I have use for all of them.  The slots work well for holding all sorts of ephemera or crafting supplies.  I love them for holding many items I use for artwork or sell in my etsy shopI can see my bingo cards at a glance...

Flash cards...

letter cards...

So useful in so many ways!  You might want to think twice
when you see one of these racks in the thrift store!

I am joining Debra over at Common Ground for Be Inspired
and
I am joining Revi for her new party over at Revisionary Life ~
Thrifty Life Thursday where we are sharing previously owned finds and their new lives... I hope you'll join us!

Until next time...

  1. Such a wonderful idea. I often see them at thrift stores and have wished the openings were a little larger. I have lots of fat quarters that I would like to store in a way that I can see them at a glance. I do use a hanging CD case and old sewing machine drawers to store the fat quarters. I'll take a closer look at these cases. Maybe the sections are removable. Thanks for the creative storage idea.

  28. I have this talented friend who put on a party at her home with dinner, dessert, and games and sent out invitations on the back of a bingo card. She printed out a sticker of invite, what, where, and when and placed the sticker on the back side and mailed them off. It was a really fun way to,ensure a fun/ great night of......B.I.N.G.O !

    Love your inspiration here!

    Xoxo
Thank you deary for your beautiful visit to my place.

Ps. As for vintage game cards, and travel postcards written on or not she takes post cards from all over and prints a sticker out for her business and passes them out for her unique business card.
