A Piece of Pretty...

 

Recently I found this huge old ironstone platter at the thrift store!  The pattern is a very dark blue, almost black...and I was drawn to the design.  This was only $4.00, as it had some big chips on the backside.  Now, you know that doesn't matter to me one little bit...
I think it is a work of art...




I decided to add it to my hutch...


I already had this lovely old oil and vinegar set 
with deep blue colors...









Think I'll have to add some more deep blue to 
the hutch...looks so pretty with fall colors...

  13. Your platter is beautiful, Linda! It complements your marmalade jars and wonderful vinegar and oil set. My friend bought a complete spice set like your vinegar and oil for only $10!!! Can you imagine?
