A Little Red, White, and Blue...

The sunporch is one area of our home always ready for the Fourth of July!  The space lends itself well to a rustic Americana style.  Thought I'd share one of the side table vignettes...

I love the flags all year round...

and this rusty old marshmallow tin is perfect to me...

as is this little vintage tin litho globe.

Old game boxes are pure art...

And an old soda bottle makes a great holder for a little flag!

I love spending time each day out in the porch...

Until next time...wishing you a wonderful Fourth of July holiday!

  3. Linda i love your decor. It really reminds me of a good ol counrty living magazine, the way they used to be. Especially the summer issues were always my favorite because of summer cabin and porch stylings.
    Enjoy your summmer and 4th!!

  19. You think of the best ways to use your vintage finds! I've got a funeral basket that I've been trying to use somewhere in the house and would never have thought to fill it with a bouquet of flags! Love the tin, too.

    Happy 4th Linda!

  27. Americana makes me happy. Wish that marshmallows still came in tins. Those bags are nasty and marshmallows are so melty and together it makes an awful mess.

  30. So adorable! Forgot all about Perquacky. I think we had that game when I was a kid. I'm lobbying for a screened porch. Hope I can talk the Mister into it. Mimi
