It's That Time! A Visit to the 2013 Bachman's Spring Ideas House...

Yesterday, I spent a wonderful day with my sweet friend Suzanne of Privet and Holly!  We attended the fun Gathering of Friends spring antique sale held at Bachman's and then toured the Bachman's Spring Ideas House, followed with a lovely lunch at Patrick's in one of the greenhouse areas!  It was a warm, near 60 degree day, a welcome respite to our long winter, especially since we had snow and cold again today!
If this is the first time you have heard of the Ideas House... Bachman's is a well-known home and garden, landscape, and floral business in Minnesota.  They hold seasonal ideas houses in an old family home on their flagship property in Minneapolis.  There is a link under my header which leads to posts from all of the previous houses!
The theme of this house is "A Relaxing Renewal", and is set up as the home of an "Event Planner".  There were lots of pretty spring flowers to greet us as we entered the porch... (remember you can click on the smaller photos to enlarge them)

The porch was ready for a spring meal with friends...I'll just let you enjoy the room...

Pretty, isn't it?  Lots of beautiful spring green color and as you enter the house you are welcomed with flowers in the entryway...

Next time, I'll share the downstairs rooms!

Until next time...

  1. I sure love those botanical looking prints! It looks great there...unlike the Bachman's near me. I keep wondering if they got a new buyer or something since it's looking kind of generic. Hope you have a good weekend, Linda :)

  5. I've been following our blog long enough to feel that your Bachman's feature is one of the real signs of spring!
Even though it's underway here in Arizona, it takes such a different form than I'm accustomed to. Yours is like Spring Classic!
