Glimpses From The Sunporch...

Our sunporch is a work in progress.  Originally a deck, it has evolved over the years into a screened porch, and finally into a sunporch.  It is still being finished off, but is hard to get any work done as it is the most relaxing space...and we tend to take a lot of naps out here!  It seemed like a good time to share some glimpses of the space, with the Fourth of July nearly here.  We decorate with red, white, and blue and vintage Americana, out in this space year round!  Thought you might enjoy seeing some of the vignettes, even though we are still under construction!

And we aren't the only ones who nap out here...

Thank you for all of your nice comments on my last post...I hope to stop by and visit soon...lots of summer fun has been going on around here lately!

Until next time...hope you have a wonderful weekend!

  6. I only saw the crock with the flags in it on your FB page, but now it really does look like my porch! Same crock, wicker planter, wicker chair with cushions, scale -- I even have a Liberty beverages bottle with a flag!

Now if I could borrow the pug and that Skee Cup game...

  34. Hey sweet girl! :)
I inspire YOU?! You inspire ME! You have such a wonderful knack for putting things together and making them look cute! :) I LOVE your picture with the home sweet home in it!! I'm looking for things for my dining room that are farm house-y (SO not a word!) and I think I might copy that for above the shelf I'll be building on the wall across from the window seat wall. I'm such a glutton for punishment! lol I've been buying some ironstone to put up there too. :) I'll be excited to get it all done, but I have SO much more to do! I'm working on the wainscoting and still have a bunch of sewing and painting left to do. My carpal tunnel will only let me do so much painting at a time though...I'm taking a bit of a break. :)
Hope you're having a great weekend!
    Love YOU much!
    Missy :)

  35. Oh dear Linda,
All those beautiful patchwork carpets -they are so fantastic work of art, and I love them. Must be wonderful there on your sun porch- even in a little grey day, you can be comfortable in one of them around you, and then watching all your other great collection, sitting there- you can`t ask for more !
