Some Fun Finds...

The weather has been wonderful in Minnesota...so warm...I even went to a garage sale this week!  Unheard of for the middle of March here!  Didn't buy anything, but it was just fun to be there!  I did have some fun thrift store finds this week!  I love these boxes of vintage Made In Japan flag picks!

Metal medical chart clipboards are fun for displaying artwork...

Aqua canning jars are never passed by...

and vintage flash cards are fun, too!

Isn't this a lovely old lamp?

I also had a wonderful etsy buy from my friend Liz of the beautiful blog,  Liz Loves Vintage!  I haven't seen Bingo cards like these before...they'll be fun for artwork!

I love her fun vintage lay-away tag, too!  You might want to check out her fun etsy shop to see what goodies you can find!  Thank you, Liz!

Until next time...enjoy the weekend!

  5. Hello Linda ! The acqua canning jars are beautiful as well as the lamp ! But the big surprise for me was to see the Greek flag on the picks !!!!!
By the way, March 25 is our National Holiday when every house and every balcony adorns the Greek flag !

  12. Once again you have really scored! You must have some great thrift stores in your area. If I ever make it to your city, I will have to ask for the names and addresses of these stores. I have an aunt and cousins who live in Wisconsin and to get there I have to go through Minnesota, so who knows. And I really need to visit that Aunt, some day soon.

  13. Love the canning jars and the bingo cards. Looks like you had a very good day. You can still purchase the little American flag tooth picks at Oriental Trading Company. I always have them for the 4th of July. I've used them on cupcakes and sometimes on the top of hamburgers and hot dogs. Makes our family get together even more festive. I have also used them on cupcakes on Veteran's Day and took them to local nursing homes and handed them out to our older veterans. You should see the smiles they bring. Have a great St. Patty's Day, Connie

  14. Wow, hard to believe garage sales have started already, Linda! So funny that those flags were made in Japan! I should know what the blue & white flag is, but I don't!! Do you know what country it belongs to? Just curious:)
