A New Love...and a Winner!

Thank you for all of your wonderful suggestions about my beautiful old photo album!   This comment was just what I had been thinking...

 Leaping Frog Designs said...
"I would lean towards altering it..Turning it into a new vintage heirloom. Then maybe it will have another 100+years of life."

So I've decided it will be a project that I am going to have some fun with!

Last week I found a new love at the Junkmarket Under Glass Sale ...Such a wonderful old scale!  I LOVE, love, love everything about it!  Such beautifully faded old graphics...

The top has a great place to display things...

like this sweet little nest I put together~ perfect for my Spring Hutch!

It's my new favorite scale!

And finally, thank you for all of your entries in the sheet music giveaway...the winner is~

Cindy of Oakview Cottage

I am joining Angie at Knick of Time Tuesday

Linda at Coastal Charm's Nifty Thrifty Tuesday
and
I'll be joining Debra at Common Ground's Monday Marketplace with some of my etsy items!  It's a great party, much like a virtual flea market!  Hope you'll join us!
Until next time...

  2. That little scale is fabulous - I can see why you love it!

On Friday I found a HUGE scale and was dying to buy it and put it in my kitchen when the remodel is done, but I couldn't figure out where in the world I would put it. It would take up a lot of counter space, without a real purpose.

If I do figure it out - I'm going back for it!

    Congratulations to your winner!

    Blessings,
    Angie

  21. What a darling little nest! Perfect for Spring. I guess we should start seeing the real nests being made outside now. I often see birds with nest building materials stuck in their beaks this time of year. The scale is so nice too. I haven't seen one like that before. Thanks for stopping by my blog and re-following too.
