The Christmas Mantel...

Yesterday, I decorated the mantel!  This year I decided to use my vintage bottle brush tree collection!  I LOVE these trees~ probably my favorite vintage Christmas collectible!  I started with a huge grunge folk art Santa who has his own bottle brush tree!  He's a big 21" high, a more recent piece, that fits well in the forest...

The trees I'm using here are from 5" high to 18" high, and are many styles...

Flocked with large beaded garland...

fruit trees and glittered...

 I'm in my happy place...

The biggest tree has a music box in the base...

Hope you enjoyed a visit into my little bottle brush heaven...

This is in our entryway and we will be adding garlands and little white lights to the room to give it a magical feel...I'll post more later!

  8. I have a bottle brush tree fetish too but unfortunatly, no mantel. I've walked around the boxes for 2 days now and just can't seem to start unpacking the Christmas goodies. I want to try to mix things up a little this year cuz I'm tired of the Christmas pictures looking EXACTLY the same every year.

I'm convinced that this is my next obsession. Especially since I have new and not so nice ones scattered throughout the house. Your snowman is adorable.
