A Very Simple Project and Something New!

Not too long ago I found an old slide box filled with these fun industrial looking slide trays! They are open across part of the base, but  I thought there must be lots of fun ways to use them~ holding sparkly glitter jars, perhaps...or maybe tea bags, splenda bags, etc?  They originally held 2" x 2" slides.  I decided to use one at Junk Bonanza...I used these stick on letters...

and put them on the graphic numbered label side...

It became a perfect place for these...

Fun, huh?  Can you think of some other fun uses for these?

If you don't have a source for these...I have a few in our new etsy shop  Romantic Farmhouse!  You may have noticed the new widget on the sidebar~ we just opened this week!

This is our second shop and we will be listings lots of fun items!  I hope you'll pay us a visit and check it out!
Until next time...
Linda

  3. Don't you love finding new uses for old things??? I'm not as creative as you but I'm sure if I had these I'd find something to use them for. Maybe in a bathroom to hold bottles of cream, etc. Maybe hold napkins in the kitchen. I like your ideas much better!

  23. Congratulations on your new shop, Linda! I will be checking it out. I love this idea for these old slide trays. I think I have some of these from my parents. It would also be a good way to store other people's business cards that you wanted to keep on file.

  26. Linda,
Your re-purpose ideas are always the best! I could give you a wad of trash & you'd make it into something fabulous! I just read thru you fall Bachman House tour. Is that a real house? I mean does anyone live there or is it done just for show? It's so amazing. I'd love to visit, of course I don't need to cuz you take us along with you! Can't wait for Christmas. Lisa
