Bachman's Spring Ideas House- Part Five- The Bathrooms...

Well, the tour is nearly done...today I'll show you two bathrooms and tomorrow, my personal favorite room of the house- the Craft Room!  If you are just starting the tour, please visit the four previous posts to see the rest of this fun house!  The above picture is from the upstairs bath- I love the old iron trivets painted and decorated with letters and the baby scale holding decorative soaps!  You enter the upper level via two flights of steps with a landing in between...

They took a waffle-weave shower curtain and embellished it with vintage fabrics...

Look at these fun vintage hangers repurposed as hooks...

They re-used an old aquarium for toilet paper storage...

and an vintage iron rest as a soap holder...

The downstairs bathroom is in the hallway, just off the kitchen.  It's just a small space, but they still fit some fun ideas in there!  I loved how they used this old street sign...

and look at how they repurposed an old mailbox!

A vintage hanging rack makes a charming towel rack...

An old barn fan cover was repurposed with the addition of a mirror- very graphic and useful!

Hope you enjoyed the bathroom ideas...next post - the craft room!  Until next time...
Linda

  10. Have you checked out the Flea Market Style Magazine? Ki Nassauer, one of its creators, was responsible for many Ideas House projects! She started the big Junk Bonanza show here- a very talented lady!
